Grand Chief Daughter Cynthia began her Official Visits on Sunday, January 5th at Desert Thistle Lodge #260 in Phoenix. CD Laura Roy greeted GCD Cynthia, GD Julie Scott of Monarch of the Glen #262, GRS Janet Grant and GT2Y Sue Wallace. Desert Thistle initiated two new members and voted on three new applications. The meeting was well attended and went along wonderfully. After the meeting there was an outdoor luncheon and a beautiful cake.  New Sisters!  The first of many cakes!

CD Carole Cordiner welcomed the GCD, GD Kathy Porrazzo , PGCD Edith Burgess, PGCD Jennette Marsden, and GCh Alyson Snyder.  And finally, GCD Trish made her last visit on June 9th at our youngest lodge, Pride of Scotland #265. CD Karen Pizzolato welcomed the Grand Chief Daughter, GD Pam Green and GT3Y Sue Wallace.  The smile of a Grand Chief Daughter looking at her last cake!  The Chicago Scottish Festival and Highland Games takes place next weekend June 14-15. Pride of Scotland made this great banner for their tent in the Clan area. The members will be involved in many areas - running the admissions gate, the history forum, the information tent, the vendor area, and as participants in highland dance and pipe bands. Apologies if I left anyone out! These sisters are really committed to the Scottish community!  On June 3rd the Grand Chief Daughter made her visit to Bon Accord Lodge #39. CD Joyce Senanian welcomed GCD Trish, GD Christine Wilson, PGCD Edith Burgess and PGCD Jennette Marsden.  On Sunday June 1st, the Grand Chief Daughter started her visits in Massachusetts with a trip to Lady Walter Scott Lodge #147 in Quincy. CD Marie Grieg welcomed GCD Trish, GD Jean VanStelten, PGCD Edith Burgess and PGCD Jennette Marsden.  On Saturday May 11th, CD Margaret Durand welcomed GCD Trish Burch, GD Heather France, and Grand Chaplain Alyson Snyder to Lady MacKenzie #68.  CD Susan Manter welcomed GCD Trish Burch, GD Ellen Greene, Grand Chaplain Alyson Snyder and GT1Y Lisa Klebart to Lady MacAlpine #70 on May 8th.  GCD Trish Burch visited Ellen Douglas #8 on Saturday May 4, 2019. Chief Daughter Carol Nelson welcomed the Grand Chief Daughter, GD Gail Sullivan, Grand Chaplain Alyson Snyder and GT1Y Lisa Klebart.  |
