CD Judith Palicka of Lady MacGregor Lodge #73 welcomed GCD Patricia Burch, Grand Deputy Georgeanne Boehme, and Past Grand Chief Daughters Liz Reed, Bernice Reed-Geggus, MaryLloyd and Joyce Marsden to their meeting on March 2nd. Lady MacGregor initiated a new member, Phyllis Colter (second from end on left, wearing the lovely scarf).

GCD Trish started her tour of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio on March 1st with a visit to Lady Forbes, home lodge of PGCD Mary Lloyd. CD Harriet Zupancic welcomed the Grand Chief Daughter and her entourage of PGCD Liz Reed, PGCD Bernice Reed-Geggus, and PGCD Joyce Marsden.  Grand Chief Daughter Trish made her final Arizona Visit on February 12th. CD Elizabeth Cox of Lady Claire #261 welcomed the GCD, GD Ashly Barnes, GRS Janet Grant, GT3Y Sue Wallace and PGCD Doreen Dunn. Lady Claire initiated two new members - Emily, daughter of PCD Christine, and Chloe, niece of SCD Alison. We were also happy to have sisters from Desert Thistle and Monarch of the Glen as our guest for the evening. On Monday Feb 11th, GCD Trish went on the traditional “tea cupping” trip with PCD Toni Sarcinella  On Sunday February 10th, Grand Chief Daughter Trish made her Official Visit to Desert Thistle #260 in Phoenix. CD Tammy Roy welcomed more than 30 sisters, including Grand Deputy Margaret Ellis, GRS Janet Grant, GT3Y Sue Wallace, PGCD Doreen Dunn, and sisters from Lady Claire #260. Three new members were initiated! The meeting was followed by an outdoor luncheon.     GCD Trish continued her tour of Arizona on Saturday February 9th with a visit to Monarch of the Glen #262 in Payson AZ. The Grand Chief Daughter was accompanied by GD Norma Brinkmeyer, GRS Janet Grant, GT3Y Sue Wallace and PGCD Doreen Dunn. Chief Daughter Dana Sipes welcomed the Grand Lodge Officers and visitors from Desert Thistle #260 and Lady Claire #261.   Grand Chief Daughter Trish began her Arizona travels on February 7th in Tucson. CD Alexandra Munro and the Officers of Spirit of Alba gave the GCD a warm welcome, and our hostess Ashleen set up a mini Gem show in her library to give the visitors a sample of the famous Tucson Gem Show which is going on now. Visitors included GD Georgette Wilds and GRS Janet Grant from Desert Thistle #260, GT3Y Sue Wallace and 3 of her sisters from Lady Claire #261, and special surprise visitor PGCD Doreen Dunn from Kilwinning #203. Spirit of Alba initiated new member Raven Limbocker.  There was a large group of local sisters and out of state visitors on hand to celebrate GCD Trish’s official visit to her home lodge, Susan Blair #255. Visiting sisters included PGCD Edith Burgess, PGCD Liz Reed, PCD Janet Kardos, and sisters VJ Ostrander and Lorna Young. It was also nice to have out of town Susan Blair Sisters GSCD Cynthia Ridings, PCD Karen Renz and PCD Peggy Thomas at the meeting.  On Thursday January 10th, GCD Trish Burch made her official visit to Lady Cameron #64.  CD Liz Dungy, her mom PCD Debbie Dungy and sister PCD Jennifer Jimenez posed with GCD Trish and PGCD Jennette. Below, GCD Trish also visited CD Liz’s grandmother PCD Nessie Roberts during her trip.   GCD Trish and PGCD Jennette visited the Queen Mary in Long Beach.  GCD Trish Burch visited Chief Daughter Pro Tem Nancy Dawes and Lady MacDuff Lodge #244 in Yucaipa CA on January 6th. GCD Trish was accompanied by Grand Deputy Debbie Dungy from Lady Cameron #64 and PGCD Jennette Marsden.  Here are GCD Trish and PGCD Jennette enjoying PCD Heather Wells’ backyard.  Chief Daughter Sandy Welsh and the sisters of Kilwinning Lodge #203 hosted a wonderful evening on January 3rd for GCD Trish Burch, GD Shelley McKinney of Lady Barbara #263, and PGCD Jennette Marsden. Dinner was held before the meeting at the Old Spaghetti Factory, and dessert after the meeting at the hall. Kilwinning #203 initiated two new members: Lynn Angus and Suzanne Baldwin.     |
